Jul 18, 2014 - 100x5k Relay (Johnston, IA) - The 100x5k Iowa relay bested the Guinness Book of World Records by 2 hours. Runablaze runners Mason Frank ran 15:14 (3rd best time), Phil Young 15:48 (11th), Nate Hopp 15:52 (14th), Daniel Sevcik 16:06, and Chris Robertson 16:55.

Zach Baker finishes 3rd @ Fifth Season 8k
Jul 4, 2014 - Fifth Season (Cedar Rapids, IA) - Zach Baker finished 3rd at Fifth Season in 24:26. Zach moved up from his 6th place last year. Nate Hopp ran 25:42 and Phil Young 26:15 to finish 8th & 13th. On the women’s side Erin Moeller was 6th in 29:50 and Emily Eimers 11th in 30:45.
Traci Kresser wins Firecracker 5k
Jul 4, 2014 - Firecracker 5k (Earlham, IA) - Traci Kresser continues her weekly racing, winning and placing 3rd overall in 17:46 at the Firecracker 5K. Christine Price was 2nd & top master female in 20:07.

Runablaze Iowa is based out of Des Moines with club members statewide. Our mission is to develop and support post-collegiate, Iowa-based distance runners. We aspire to be competitive at individual and team events at the local, regional, and national level in the sports of road racing, track & field, and cross country. We are a USA Track & Field Elite Development Club and our goal is to provide our athletes as much as they require in terms of coaching, training gear, and travel expenses to national championship races.
