Zach Baker finishes 5th at Midnight Madness 10k
Jul 11, 2015 - Midnight Madness (Ames, IA) - Zach Baker finished 5th in 31:44 at the Midnight Madness 10k on a humid evening. Former teammate Mason Frank finished 6th in 32:22, ISU grad Charlie Paul 9th in 33:17 and Tommy Ries 14th in 34:27. As a team, they finished 2nd. Kristy Harken won the women’s 5k in 19:12, her 9th 5k victory at Midnight Madness. Kristy also ran the 10k, finishing 2nd female in the combined 15k distance.

Zach Baker runs 8k PR & finishes 4th at Fifth Season 8k
Jul 4, 2015 - Fifth Season 8k (Cedar Rapids, IA) - Zach Baker placed 4th at the Fifth Season 8k setting a new PR of 24:14. New team athlete, Eli Horton was 9th in 25:34, Phil Young, having a standout season, 10th in 25:38 and new team athlete Chase Moser was 16th in 26:27. Two from the men’s team coming back from early season injuries were Nate Hopp in 27:11 and Tyler Sullivan in 28:45. In the women’s race Obsie Birru was 7th in 28:52, new team athlete Alexina Wilson 8th in 28:54 and Erin Moeller 9th in 29:16. Emily Eimers won the 5k in 19:10.
Jen Van Otterloo wins Red, White & Boom half marathon
Jul 4, 2015 - Red, White & Boom Half Marathon (Twin Cities, MN) - Jen Van Otterloo is back with a 1:20:21 win at the Red, White & Boom! Twin Cities Half Marathon. After almost a year off competitive running Jen ran away from the competition, winning by three minutes.
